Extra Mailbox (Accessible using POP3 or IMAP4)

An extra mailbox can be accessed as a POP3 mailbox on pop.sharedhosting.net. There is a $50 per year fee for each mailbox. A hosting package includes one extra mailbox -- in addition to the administrative account -- which may also be specified below.

• Forwarding
This is useful if you already have an operational mailing address somewhere else and would simply like to forward email addressed to username@yourdomain.com to it. A one time fee of $10 will be billed to your account, unless requested as part of the signup for a hosting package.

• Autoreply
Email addressed to a specific address under your domain name, such as info@yourdomain.com, can be replied automatically with a message. For this, you should save the message in a file named info.txt in the home directory of the administrative account for the domain. A one time fee of $10 will be billed to your account.

A pre-configured SMTP server of your choice will be configured as a primary MX server in the DNS records for your domain.
