When you sign up for a shared hosting service and the domain name registration is completed, you will be able to recieve email sent to any username at your domain.
By default we map all email addressed to (someone)@yourdomain.com in your administrator mailbox. This is the mailbox username@pop.sharedhosting.net, where username is what you selected to use for maintaining your Website. If you would like this email sent to a different email address instead, you can specific so when Signing Up without an extra charge. You can subsequently request email forwarding for a small one time administration fee.
It is possible for us to map mail addressed to different usernames at your domain into different destinations--a destination could be an extra mailbox on our server or a remote pre-existing mailbox that we can forward email to.
EXAMPLE: If you registered indus.com, with the administrative account login name "joe" and requested us to create an extra mailbox "jason", you can request the following mapping:
EMAIL ADDRESSED TO IS SENT TO webmaster@indus.com jason@sharedhosting.net dan@indus.com d32643@something.com (everyone else)@indus.com joe@sharedhosting.net
Mail in your Indus Hosting mailbox can be accessed from a POP3 email reader such as Netscape, MS Internet Explorer or Eudora. You can read email from anywhere on the Internet, through any Internet Service Provider using your POP username, password by pointing to pop.sharedhosting.net
sales@indus.net
