Web Co-location Package Businesses that require the use of a dedicated hardware platform and custom configuration of the web server software may choose to colocate their server on our ethernet backbone. This includes secondary DNS and Sendmail support for the domain(s) hosted on the colocated server. This packge is ideal for clients who expect heavy traffic (several hundreds thousand hits a day) unsuitable for a shared Web server environment or who wish to run several Web sites at a flat monthly rate. You should be comfortable with complete configuration of the Web server platform and maintaining it remotely. As part of the setup, we will work with you to customize your order form processing CGI scripts to relay the order to you either by fax or via an encrypted PGP mail that can be decrypted only by you.
If you wish to use your own CGI, it must be in perl so we can inspect it. We charge $100 each time such a changed CGI is made available to us. The charge for our time to look for potential holes is imperative on the commerce server since serious financial data of other clients is at stake.

InterNIC Registration and Yearly Domain Maintenance
If the domain name you wish to register is not under one of InterNIC's TLDs, such as, but not limited to, those under two letter ISO country code TLDs, we can assist you in finding the email address for the appropriate domain registries and whether you should register the domain directly with them. In either case, our yearly domain maintenance fee of $30 applies to every domain that points to our name servers. A direct domain registration with a registry pointing to our nameservers without prior written approval from support@sharedhosting.net constitutes a theft of our nameserver resources. We reserve the right to take any actions we deem necessary to stop this.
The yearly domain maintenance fee of $30 payable to Web Professionals, Inc. does not include the registration of InterNIC or any other registry. We charge this fee to process domain requests to the InterNIC and to maitain the domain server (DNS) and mail records for the domain.
